Training On Chromatographic, Spectrometric And Elemental Analysis Techniques

Staff at the Department of Physical Sciences, Department of Environmental Sciences, Department of Public Health and Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Machakos University participated in a two days ( 25th March and 3rd April 2025 ) training that was facilitated by a team of experts from Educational Scientific & Technical Equipment Company Ltd (ESTEC). The training covered analysis of samples using GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES and hands-on training using the state-of-the art ATR-FTIR at the chemistry laboratory. Staff were also exposed to the current improvements in analytical instrumentation that incorporates artificial intelligence.
