RESEARCH INTEREST

  1. Environmental Xenobiotics: Development of analytical methods and monitoring materials. Specifically, nanoscale and nano-enabled materials that offer new possibilities for the development of novel remediation and environmental sensing/monitoring technologies for water, soil and air pollutants. In addition to the general application of Green Chemistry such as bioremediation and phytoremediation technologies in solving day-to-day environmental and health problems.
  2. Determination of medicinal potentiality of natural plants and the green nanoparticle synthesis processes, use of safe extraction procedures of flavonoids and their applications, nanotechnologies for stabilization of these extracts and application/modification of phase-inverted nano-porous membranes for environmental remediation and monitoring purposes.
