Study of the behavior of agricultural chemicals in soil. Kinetic studies of their degradation under abiotic and biotic conditions. Isolation of adapted key pesticide degraders from soils with long term exposure to the chemicals. Possibilities of the application of the key pesticide-degrades or
communities for bio-augmentation in bio remediation studies of contaminated sites. Analysis of speciation of essential elements in Kenyan medicinal plants. Kinetics of metal pollutants biosorption by natural products biomass. Phyto remediation and sorption kinetics of pharmaceuticals by iron –doped adsorbents.
